De acuerdo a lo que trascendi\u00f3, el jugador se sinti\u00f3 muy agotado en el entrenamiento previo al encuentro de San Antonio ante Phoenix, por lo que fue sometido a los estudios que confirmaron la afecci\u00f3n.<\/p>\n<p>Wemby fue elegido como n\u00famero 1 del draft de 2023, &#8216;rookie&#8217; del a\u00f1o de la NBA en 2024 y en esta temporada hab\u00eda sido designado por primera vez para el All-Star. Con estos n\u00fameros, Wembanyama era el favorito para hacerse con el premio de defensor del a\u00f1o al final de la temporada regular.
