Horacio Zeballos sigue haciendo historia<\/b> en el tenis argentino y tambi\u00e9n a nivel mundial. Este s\u00e1bado, junto al espa\u00f1ol Marcel Granollers, se consagr\u00f3 campe\u00f3n del US Open en dobles<\/b>, tras vencer a la dupla brit\u00e1nica Joe Salisbury y Neal Skupski, en un partidazo que roz\u00f3 las dos horas y media de juego.<\/p>\n

En la emblem\u00e1tica pista Arthur Ashe, la pareja hispano-argentina, quinta cabeza de serie, se impuso por 3-6, 7-6 (7-4) y 7-5, luego de salvar tres match points en el \u00faltimo set<\/b>. Una victoria \u00e9pica para sellar el segundo t\u00edtulo de Grand Slam en la temporada, tras la consagraci\u00f3n en Roland Garros<\/b>, tambi\u00e9n frente a los brit\u00e1nicos.<\/p>\n

A sus 40 a\u00f1os, Zeballos se convirti\u00f3 en el primer argentino en conquistar el torneo de dobles del US Open<\/b>. Este logro lo coloca definitivamente en la historia grande del tenis nacional. Para Granollers, el triunfo tambi\u00e9n fue especial, ya que sucedi\u00f3 a sus compatriotas Sergio Casal y Emilio S\u00e1nchez Vicario, campeones en Nueva York en 1988.<\/p>\n

Con esta nueva coronaci\u00f3n, Zeballos y Granollers se consolidan como la mejor pareja del circuito en 2025 y suman un hito inolvidable para el tenis argentino y espa\u00f1ol.<\/p>\n
