El refer\u00ed neerland\u00e9s Rob Dieperink fue encontrado muerte en una vereda cercana a su casa en Borculo, este lunes<\/strong>. El juez ten\u00eda 38 a\u00f1os y era uno de los inicialmente designados como \u00e1rbitro de VAR<\/a> por su pa\u00eds para el Mundial<\/a><\/strong>. Sin embargo, fue bajado del certamen por una denuncia de abuso sexual que despu\u00e9s fue desestimada por la Justicia.<\/p>\n<\/div>\n

En el comunicado, la Federaci\u00f3n Neerlandesa afirm\u00f3 estar \u201cconmocionada y profundamente entristecida\u201d, destac\u00e1ndolo como un \u00e1rbitro valorado y un compa\u00f1ero amable.<\/p>\n<\/div>\n

La cuesti\u00f3 legal ocurri\u00f3 tras su detenci\u00f3n en abril de 2026 por la Polic\u00eda Metropolitana de Londres, por una denuncia de presunto abuso sexual a un menor (durante su estancia en el Reino Unido como \u00e1rbitro VAR en el partido Crystal Palace-Fiorentina, por la Conference League). Despu\u00e9s, la investigaci\u00f3n fue archivada por falta de pruebas. Entonces, volvi\u00f3 a dirigir en su pa\u00eds. El s\u00e1bado \u00faltimo hab\u00eda dirigido un partido.<\/strong><\/p>\n<\/div>\n

Al ser consultado por la prensa local por su aprehensi\u00f3n, declar\u00f3: \u201cMe entristece mucho haber sido acusado injustamente.<\/strong> Cooper\u00e9 plenamente con la investigaci\u00f3n policial y fui completamente transparente. Es una l\u00e1stima que la FIFA haya decidido no contar conmigo para el Mundial; por supuesto, estoy decepcionado\u00bb.<\/p>\n<\/div>\n
